Dutch entrepreneur and designer Marlieke van Rossum has played an essential role in
making Van Rossum the brand that it is today. The daughter of founders Piet and Fien
van Rossum, she joined the family firm in 2000. She has been instrumental in the
brand’s evolution moving into manufacturing timeless and contemporary furniture and
is responsible for spearheading Van Rossum’s collaborations with some of Europe’s
most noteworthy designers, architects and creatives.
Her own work for Van Rossum, which includes the collections Kops, Nota Bene and
Beam to name a few, is characterised by an effortless and timeless elegance, careful
consideration in regards to durability and functionality, as well as a deep understanding
