Continuing on through the installation’s exploration of domesticity, visitors reach an open-plan kitchen by German creative Thomas Haarmann. In reducing its design to
the bare minimum, Haarmann aims to bring attention to the craftsmanship and materiality of the UMAMI kitchen, which solid oak construction not only encompasses its fronts but also its framework and drawers.
